Torrevieja
The cosmopolitan town of Torrevieja is just 30 minutes from Alicante and lies on the coast which offers sandy beaches and a beautiful harbour. The town is picturesque and boasts a Friday outdoor market, shops, restaurants and bars. It is particularly vibrant in the evenings when you will find plenty of activity on the seafront. You can experience the night market selling all sorts of souvenirs, clothes, handbags etc. Or just take a short walk along the boulevard enjoy a beer, Spanish cuisine and delicious ice cream sundaes!

Villamartin
Villamartin is about 15 minutes drive south of Torrevieja and is a superb holiday area for couples and families. Villamartin boasts its own golf course and club house for members and none members. Other golf courses Las Ramblas and Campoamor are also close by which makes the area a must for golfers!
The plaza lies in the heart of Villamartin and hosts some of the best bars and restaurants. You can enjoy cuisine from all over Europe and look out onto tropical trees and plants in a pleasant and entertaining atmosphere.
Villamartin is just 10mins drive from the beautiful beaches of playa Flamenca, La Zenia and Cabo Roig. The beaches stretch out along the coast and each has a number of bars and restaurants nearby, play areas for children and sunbeds with shade. This coastline stretches right to Mar Menor with many sandy beaches for you to explore.

Los Dolces
Los Dolces is a short walk from Villamartin where there are more bars and restaurants, lively entertainment, shops and a gymnasium. This is a popular area for holiday makers to stay and enjoy the atmosphere at night and breakfast and lunch during the day.
Playa Flamenca
Playa Flamenca is about 10 minutes drive south of Torrevieja and is a popular place for holiday makers to stay. The area has a wonderful out door market on a Saturday and people come from all around to buy their fresh fruit and vegetables as well as souvenirs, clothes, pots and pans and all manner of goods.
Playa Flamenca lies on the coast and is just a short walk to the beaches. Many bars and restaurants offer cuisine from tapas to curries and Chinese food.
La Zenia
La Zenia lies on the coast between Cabo Roig and Playa Flamenca and has one of the best beaches for sunbathing and children to play. The La Zenia Hotel is nearby where you can eat and use their large swimming pool. There are many bars and restaurants and shops to choose from in the main street a short walk inland from the beach.
Cabo Roig
Cabo Roig lies on the coast a few minutes drive south from La Zenia. Cabo Roig has the liveliest night life and hosts many bars, clubs and restaurants. This area is recommended for those who enjoy the livelier night life on their holiday!
La Capitan beach is in easy walking distance and is a good family beach with a beautiful rocky coastline and areas for children to play. |
